The  Planning Stage of Standard 1B consists of 2 steps:

Step 1: Indicator Mapping

Indicator mapping means outlining the various activities that will be involved in collecting data on each one of your Social Indicators. This includes identifying data collection tools and touch points; and how data will be verified, stored, managed, analysed and reported. You should have already defined social indicators in Standard 1A.

Step 2: Design data collection tools

In Step 1, you should have identified the data collection tools you will be using to collect data for each of your social indicators. This step will assist you with designing those surveys and other data collection tools.
